A quick interview with Pete Wilson, pastor of Cross Point in Nashville, TN. Besides being called out by Carlos Whittaker for a corn-hole game, Pete shared some great insight for Church Planters and leaders. Mainly, lead well at home. By the way, check out the festive Christmas decor in the office!

  • Seriously, this could be a hair competition between the two of you.

Welcome to the Backstage Club Pete.

Great quote: “Contact with the creator is essential for transformational leadership.”

    Great interview Greg & Pete!

  • Greg

Ha! I just got mine cut, so I guess we’ll give Pete the medal.

  • Hey Greg

I am on staff at CP with Pete and it is truly an honor to serve here. I can assure you that this place is all that he explained it to be in the interview today. Thanks for what you are doing as a young leader and for having the courage to go after incredible people to learn from. I am proud of you bro.

Thanks Blake. Please join the conversation and make it better. I hear nothing but great stuff coming out of Nashville. Maybe there’s a place up there for us someday!

  • Greg:

Thank you for this interview with Mr. WithoutWax. What a simple truth Pete brings. Thanks for sharing this gem.

(BTW: Don’t you love using wetoku? Fell in love with that application during our Idea Camp ramp up.)

Keep up the conversations, Greg. Love hearing your heart.

Thanks Dawn. Appreciate you stopping by. We need to get you out to the East Coast to help run some stuff!

If you have any ideas for interviews, let me know.

  • Thanks guys. I really had a blast being a part of it. Keep up the great work Greg. You’re a good man.

    • Greg

Pleasure was all mine. Appreciate all you’re doing. Plus you reminded me that I need to get more Christmas lights!

  • Pete, love the “not replaceable as a husband and father” comments. Thanks for your honesty.

Maybe it is a Southern thing but I going to have to Google corn-hole. Never heard of it…sound painful. Greg, great interview.

I am a huge fan of Dawn Carter and would love to see her involved more in what you do but she better stay on the West Coast!!!

    • Greg

Well, with Dawn, I’m pretty sure she has the ability to be in more than one place at a time, or so it seems. Corn hole is a game played down here, mostly at football tailgate parties. Worth the look. Thanks for the comment. Tell Matt Brown hello!

  • Wow, Greg you are right. I do think Dawn has that ability. Win-win for us. I will tell Matt hello. To be honest, I know there are some amazing Pastors our there, but I have to put Matt and Pete at the very top.
