Waiting
As a young leader, it can be frustrating accepting your current spot in the journey. You have big dreams, huge visions, tons of ideas and you just want an opportunity to go after them. A lot of you are just going for it, but even then, maybe its not working out like you thought.
I understand completely how you feel. Waiting stinks, but its necessary. But its also a matter of perspective. Waiting gives you an opportunity to grow. Waiting gives you an opportunity to build a foundation. Waiting is actually a part of your journey, because in reality, if you are focused on your vision, you’ll see the “waiting” as actually steps towards your vision, not something slowing you down.

Encouragement
If you are trying to do something huge for God, whether its planting a church, starting a non-profit, or even leading a family, you know the ups and downs of the path. It can be tiring. It can be tough. You will feel like quitting. You’ll ask yourself, why am I doing this? Is this even worth it? At times like that, you need an inner circle to confide in and to have them speak encouraging wisdom into your life. You need more voices than the one’s inside your head to tell you to keep going.
The road is long, its tough, and man is it lonely, but remember, if changing the world were easy, everyone would do it. Stick with it today, whatever it is you are working on. A new day is here. The light is just over the horizon. It will be worth it. Remember, you are not alone. Find some people to encourage you, who believe in you. We need you to keep going.
Who is it in your life that encourages you?
For me its my wife and my brother. I couldn’t do this without them.
