Do Something

On the Backstage Leadership session last week with Andy Andrews, he made a great point. He said that when motivated people don’t know which way to go, a lot of times, they will sit and wait and wait and wait some more. He said to be successful, when faced with the opportunity to Do Nothing or Do Something, we must choose Do something every time. For opportunities come with those that are out there doing something; they rarely come to those sitting on the couch.

If you don’t know what to do right now, try reading a new book. Join a leadership development program. Go to a networking meeting. Call an old friend for lunch. Go volunteer at a food bank. Spend some time with the youth group.

Figure out something to do today and DO IT. For opportunities will come along when you are doing!
